Upcoming Activities and Events Calendar Contact Us	We are part of the Black Swamp Council in the American Elm district. Our troop meets at the DOCK at St. Marks United Methodist Church at 800 S. Main Street in Findlay, Ohio. We especially welcome our visitors and hope you enjoy your stay and visit us often. If you're looking for a troop to join, please contact us. We're excited to share in the Scouting Experience on THE ROAD TO EAGLE with You! Boy Scout Troop 308 has been sponsored by St. Mark's United Methodist Church since the mid 1920s. The Troop Committee and Scoutmaster pledge to you to assist each Scout in the development of his duties to God and Country, to others and to himself. We hope to develop an awareness of self-reliance, to improve individual and group skills, and to increase his abilities and knowledge, particularly those of the outdoors and nature. Scouting involves more than the basic activities usually associated with the program, such as tying knots, cooking, and camping. While this is an integral part of Scouting, Troop 308's program also includes both adventure and work, with emphasis on growth and advancement in all phases of character building, citizenship, acceptance of responsibility, planning, execution, and evaluation. Troop 308 believes that it can be successful by being flexible and adapting to the changing times and interests of its members.
